I have worked with Ken in our community for the last year on a project called Conversations About Race. Ken has found a way to make a topic that is difficult to tackle very accessible. His approach comes from a place of deep caring, humanity, and willingness to find a shared connection. Ken is what leadership looks like because he engages and creates change through education and being present. The time he spends learning about topics and showing up where he is needed proves his deep desire to public service. He has a practical approach that draws us together versus pushing on the poles that keep us apart. We would be fortunate to have Ken elected to bring the change in our state that is needed.
